U17 Update 5-5-07

Last year's U17 team wanted to wear the Wizards Royal Blue one more time.   The soon to be high school graduates donned the royal blue uniforms and played like champions at UW- Parkside last weekend. After falling behind by 17 points in the first half of the championship game , the Wizards alumni clawed their way into game. They had possession of the ball with under 30 seconds to go, when the opposition decided to double the ball. Coach Ken called for a high screen and the alumni team instinctively knew to run the screen and roll a play to victory.  The Alumni played tenacious defense for 15 seconds and they were champions once again.  The victory avenged an earlier loss to the Brute Force club.
